Uses:
Tonifies chi, healthy hair, tirdness, cold extremities, irritability
Directions:
Take 4 tablets 3 times per day, 1/2-1 hour away from
meals with a cup of warm water.
Clinical Application:
Hair Loss, dry, thin premature graying hair, useful in some
emotional disorders and disorders that follow the TCM
pattern. Often with dry skin and mild constipation, also high
cholesterol.
TCM Applications:
Kidney and Liver Yin deficiency , blood deficiency.

- HE SHOU WU
- Polygonum Multiflorum (root) 450mg
Remarks:
Also known as Chinese Knotweed. This herb is named after
Mr. He who is said to have found a particularly large
specimen and after taking it for a period of time found his
graying hair to become black. He Shou Wu means Black
haired Mr. He. Mr he was said to have lived till 132 years of
age.
Warnings:
Not for Damp heat patterns, not ideal for use with
Spleen and Stomach Qi deficiency with poor digestion
and loose stools. Since it contains a mild laxative it must
be used with caution with any pattern of poorly formed
stools.
Warning: Polygonum multiflorum may harm the liver in some
people. Use under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
