This Traditional Chinese Medicine has been traditionally
used to nourish the Yin and clear the Heat, helps to relieve

This formula is for the main common pattern, Kidney yin
deficiency.
Symptoms like as scanty or cessation of periods, hair loss,
vaginal dryness, dizziness and or tinnitus. Frequently hot
flushes and night sweats with five heart heat (heat sensation
in the chest, palms and soles), insomnia; increased dreams;
itchy skin or feeling of insects crawling on skin and soreness

Uses:

Remarks:
The kidney in TCM is responsible for growth, maturation and
aging, the deficiency of kidney yin is directly related to signs,
symptoms and complications of menopause. In addition to
kidney yin deficiency, other common conditions that occur in
menopause are kidney yang deficiency use CH 223; kidney
essence (jing) deficiency Use CL 006 ; liver qi stagnation use
CL 002; blood deficiency; and uprising deficiency heat use
RM004.

This Medicine has been traditionally used to support kidneys and invigorate yang, nourish liver and clear heat. It regulates the Chong and Ren channels, helping to relieve the symptoms of menopause.
Uses:
Specially developed for use within the Hospital system of China, this formula is used for the treatment of menopausal syndrome characterized by hot flushes, night sweats and irritability that may be accompanied by a general tendency to be cold (hot-cold syndrome), particularly in the early hours of the morning.

Remarks:
The first three herbs, Xian mao, Yin Yang Huo and Ba Ji Tian all nourish the Liver blood while at the same time invigorate Kidney yang. Yin Yang Huo regulates the Liver while Dang Gui regulates the blood, both helping reduce the associated emotional symptoms of this pattern.
Zhi Mu and Huang Bai clear deficient heat and drain fire with Huang Bi leading the ministerial fire (pericardium) back down to the source (kidneys).
